Delivery

 

We offer free standard delivery on all orders over £250.00 (UK mainland Only). Contact us for orders outside the UK. Customers are welcome to arrange pick up or shipping and delivery, by their own selected courier. Associated costs, insurance, and delivery period will then be the responsibility of the customer. Email info@topshelf.co.uk to request collection arrangements

 

Orders are processed within 48 hours of monies received and are usually delivered within 7-14 working days. Please advise if you need your order quicker and we will try our best to accomodate. Deliveries are made in normal working hours between 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday. Other delivery options may be available on request.

 

Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

 

Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email including our couriers details and your consignment number so you can track your order.

 

IMPORTANT: It is strongly advised that you sign for you delivery as "unchecked" as damaged caused in transit is not often clear until the package is opened. No claims for loss or damage can be made if your delivery is signed for as "recieved in good condition". You must ask the driver to change the status to unchecked.

 

All deliveries must be signed for. Be aware Top Shelf UK will not be liable for any product damaged or lost if deliveries are accepted without signature. If someone else is to accept the delivery on your behalf you should advise them of this information.

 

We go to great lengths to protect your product in transit but if damage has occurred you are fully covered by us and a replacement will be sent within 5 working days. You must notify us within 24 hours of the delivery if any items have been damaged.

 

We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 24 hours from the expected delivery date. It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 24 hours after delivery.

 

It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 24 hours after delivery.

 

We use a nationwide courier service for all our deliveries. It is therefore very important that you check your goods prior to accepting delivery. By signing for the goods you are confirming that all items have been delivered undamaged. No claims for damaged goods will be accepted once you have signed for the order.

 

 

Terms & Conditions

 

The terms and conditions outlined here apply to all transactions from Top Shelf UK. Our terms and conditions must be accepted before any order is placed therefore we ask that you read them carefully. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 

We will not accept any order until payments have been received in full. Once funds have been transferred, we will confirm acceptance of your order in a written acknowledgment of order by e-mail. Whether or not you receive an e-mail, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us.

 

All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling and Include VAT (IF SELECTED AS INCLUSIVE). All major credit and debit cards are accepted (amex is not) via Paypal or over the telephone. No additional transaction fees will be charged.

When ordering a natural timber product. Please note that timber is a natural material and variations in colour and grain can, and will, occur. All timbers will change colour, darken and shape over the lifetime of the product. Due to availablity, Solid wood shelves over 190m deep may be jointed down the length with the same piece of timber for a seamless finish to increase the depth as required.

 

All sizes stated are nominal and the following allowances have been maintained; length=<>1mm/Depth=<>1mm/thickness=<>0.5mm.

 

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the packaging of the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

 

We do not accept any responsibility for the installation of your goods. All installations must be carried out by a competent person, we strongly recommend that you use a qualified tradesperson to install you products. Any damage to goods as a result of, or following, installation will be at your own risk and your responsibility.

 

 

Returns

 

It is important to us that you're happy with your TOP SHELF UK purchase. If you're not totally satisfied you can return it within 7 days. We will give you a full refund within 5 working days by the same method as your original payment for products that are returned with proof of purchase in a new and unused condition and complete with all original fixings and packaging.

You can return any stocked product, as long as it is in an unused and in a re-saleable condition. This excludes all made to measure and bespoke goods including but not limited to; wall shelves, floating shelves, alcove shelves. Top Shelf UK reserve the right to refuse the return or offer an exchange if the returns criteria are not fully met.

 

Any orders that are considered as bespoke are not covered by this returns policy.

 

Where a refund has been authorised and agreed by us, the goods must be returned to us within 7 days of that agreement. Failure to return the goods to us within that time will result in the cancellation of the refund.

 

You agree to return the goods in full, in a re-saleable, unused condition and complete with all original fixings and packaging. We recommend that you send these items with postal insurance (special delivery) as we cannot accept responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit to us. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are faulty or not as described, in which case we will refund any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us or arrange for collection from you free of charge.

 

If upon delivery you feel your item may have been damaged or lost in transit you must notify us within 24 hours. You must send a picture of any damage to your goods within 24 hours by e-mailing us at info@topshelf.co.uk this is very important as we need proof of damage and defects to release replacement parts.

 

You agree to take reasonable care of the goods from the time that they are delivered to you until the time that they are returned.

Bespoke Solution Packages

Unless damaged or faulty. Returns on bespoke solution packages are not accepted.

 

Prior to your 1-2-1 consultation you will be required to send pictures of the room from different angles and give overall dimensions of the space where your bespoke solution will be situated. All information should be sent to info@topshelf.co.uk. We will not be held liable for any incorrect information. Any discrepancies which result in incorrect information given to us will be your responsibility.

 

After the initial 1-2-1 consultation with your dedicated designer we will send a quotation by email. One this price has been agreed we will require a £150.00 deposit prior to starting any designs and visualisations. When the designs have been agreed and full payment has been received we will refund the deposit back to you in full.

 

You will be given the opportunity to provide three rounds of feedback where rounds two and three are used for very minor changes, after receiving edited ‘versions’ of their new design to review. Any amendments or additional consultancy time required outside of these three feedback opportunities will not be accepted, or may be subject to further charge.

We will not proceed to manufacture until full payment has been received. A program of works will be agreed between you and your Project Manager which will include timescales for manufacture, delivery and installation. This programme will form a binding contract and any delay caused by you will result in further charge.

 

It is your responsibility to offer our fitting team a safe working environment. Before we arrive, you will be required move all furniture and objects out of the room where the work is being carried out and to offer safe access and ingress to our fitters. TOP SHELF UK will refuse to deliver or install if these requirements are not met.

 

If, due to your fault we are unable to deliver and install on the agreed dates. You will be held liable and subject to further charge.

 

All bespoke work is guaranteed from 12 months for the date of installation.
